Paris Marathon

Runners, lace up your shoes for the 42nd Paris Marathon, which will take over the streets of Paris on Sunday, April 8, 2018. The route offers plenty of fine sights along the way as it passes through the Place de la Concorde, along the Tuileries, around Place de la Bastille, down to the beautiful Bois de Vincennes, along the Seine past Notre-Dame and the Eiffel Tower, through the Bois de Boulogne and to the finish line near the Arc de Triomphe. What a triumph indeed!

Paris Foire du Trone

The Foire du Trone is a massive fun fair with a history dating back to the 12th century. Now one of Europe’s largest temporary fun fairs, the Foire du Trone draws about five million visitors every year. Located at the Pelouse de Reuilly in the Bois de Vincennes park in the southeast of central Paris, the fair has rides, live entertainment, circus shows and lots of unexpected fun.

The 35th annual Banlieues Bleues jazz festival kicks off in March with concerts held in several locations in the Seine-Saint-Denis area northeast of Paris. This festival attracts musicians from around the world and is a staple of the springtime for jazz enthusiasts in Paris.
